CAREGIVER CERTIFICATION COURSE
AS MANDATED BY THE ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SERVICES FOR EMPLOYMENT IN ASSISTED LIVING FACILITIES, GROUP HOMES, ADULT FOSTER CARE HOMES AND ADULT DAY CARES.
SUPERVISORY CARE SERVICES: Cover the basic of Fire & Safety Emergency Procedures, Nutrition, Elder Abuse, Neglect & Exploitation Prevention, Infection Control, Advanced Directives (DNR), Service Plan, Documentation & Record Keeping, Developing & Providing Social, Recreational & Rehabilitative Activities, Self administration of Prescribed Medications, Managing Personal Stress, and Resident Rights.
PERSONAL CARE SERVICES: Examines the common conditions of aging and the implication of care. Provides hands on training of Activities of Daily Living, Residents Rights while assisting with ADLS, Vital Signs, and Pharmacology/Medication Training.
DIRECTED CARE SERVICES: Provides an overview of Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias with an emphasis of Intervention, Redirection, and Communication, Providing Appropriate Activities & Services to residents who cannot direct self care. Operations are offered through group interactions and role playing.

MANAGER CERTIFICATION COURSE
AS MANDATED BY THE ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SERVICES & ARIZONA NURSING CARE INSTITUTION BOARD OF EXAMINERS FOR EMPLOYMENT IN ASSISTED LIVING FACILTIES AND GROUP HOMES.
We will review the Principles of Management, Business Ethics pertaining to Assisted Living Facilities, Working with other Healthcare Professionals, Regulation-Compliance, Developing and Implementing Policies & Procedures, Service Planning, Maintaining Records, Documentation Principles, and Laws affecting Personnel Practicing.
